(July 22, 2016) Great success in Albania for the fourth anniversary of ‘Gala Italia’, the traditional event organised by the Italian Consulate General in Valona dedicated to the emerging talents in Italian fashion and music. The event took place in recent days at the touristic Italian marina of Orikum. Its objective is to promote businesses in the region and to value the ‘Made in Italy’. The best of Italian fashion was brought by the designer Roman Maison Luigi Borbone who presented thirty-four pieces from the last three collections. Maison Luigi Borbone’s participation at the Gala Italia 2016, like Maison Giada Curti last year, is the result of a collaboration with the Consulate General with AltaRoma, organisation of fashion events in Rome. In terms of music, a performance by singer and songwriter Chiara Dello Iacovo, who was very successful at last year’s Sanremo festival, from the critics and the public. Among the 250 guests was the ex Albanian President Alfred Moisiu, the Minister of Parliamentary Relations Ermonela Felaj, Councillor for Diplomacy and Culture of the Prime Minister Fate Valej, mayor of Valona Dritan Leli and other authorities of the consular department.
