(July 25, 2016) Exploring the role of sports in peaceful conflict resolution: volunteers of CSIperilMondo in collaboration with Save the Dream prepare to become peace ambassadors. Five young Italians and one Afghan refugee in Italy will be in Greece to participate in the second “Imagine Pace Youth Camp” hosted at the International Olympic Academy Facilities in Ancient Olympia until July 31. The volunteers are joined by 50 other volunteers ranging from 17 and 25 years of age from 15 different countries to participate in training and carrying out an intense experience towards solidarity. The second “Image Peace Youth Camp” is organised by the International Olympic truce Centre (IOTC) with the support of the United Nations and in collaboration with Save the Dream and the British Council. The International Olympic Truce Centre (IOTC) seeks to promote equality and peace through interactive workshops and sports. (Red)
