Brussels – The European Commission has recognized Lombardy Region as ‘Reference Site 3-Stars’, a quality mark on a 4 star scale, of innovative services and products for the benefit of the population. The appointment will be formalized at an official ceremony to be held in Brussels in December. The proposal submitted by the Lombardy Region to compete for the tender for the award covers all subject areas represented in the ‘Action Groups’, which saw the participation of several centers of Lombardy. Among these, in particular, the technological partnership that has been created in Lombardy under the name of ‘Cluster TAV’, which sees the aggregation of several Lombard centers for research and development of technologies for the continuity of care, and ‘Ambient Assisted living’ service/solutions for safer and healthier living environments.
