Abuja – More than 400 million Euros, is the Lombard interchange value with Nigeria and Kenya in 2015, over a fifth of the entire national export-import with the two African countries. Milan weighs 73% of exchange with Nigeria and more than half of that with Kenya, followed by Bergamo (11.7%) and Lecco (10.4%) for trade relations with Nairobi, and from Varese (6.2 %) and Monza (4.5%) with Abuja. Lombardy mainly imports textiles, clothing, leather and accessories from the two African countries (78 million euros of about 91 of total imports) while it exports mainly machinery (138 million euro), chemicals and chemical products (37 million). This is shown by a Milan Chamber of Commerce study on ISTAT 2015 data. (9Colonne)
