Los Angeles. Seven Italian films have been submitted in order to compete for the representation of Italy in the next edition of the Academy Awards in the category of best foreign film. Fuocammare by Gianfranco Rosi, The Last will be Last by Massimiliano Bruno, Indivisible by Edoardo De Angelis, They Call Me Jeeg Robot by Gabriele Mainetti, Perfect Strangers by Paolo Genovese, Pericle by Stefano Mordini, Suburra by Stefano Sollima. These are among the Italian films distributed in Italy between 1 October, 2015 and 30 September, 2016 and the seven films submitted to the Oscars. (9colonne)
