Berlin. €38 million between Lombardy and Germany, €5million of which to the automobile sector; one that is on the rise with +17% in imports and +15.5% in exports. Among the provinces of Lombardy, Mantua excels in the export of automobiles (more than €200 million in 2015), Brescia excels in car bodies, trailers and semi-trailers (€26 million) and Bergamo excels in auto parts and accessories and engines (€280 million). Milan and Mantua are ahead in imports for automobiles (€1.8 billion), parts, accessories and engines (€251 million) and car bodies and trailers (€37 million) respectively. These are results from Milan’s Chamber of Commerce’s Studies and Statistics based on ISTAT data for the years 2015 and 2014 for the occasion of Volkswagen group’s presence this morning at the Chamber of Commerce, searching for suppliers.
