Zhuhai – Telespazio, a joint venture between Leonardo-Finmeccanica (67%) and Thales (33%), leader in satellite services, and Space Star Technology Corporation (SSTC), a Chinese company of Cast Group (China Academy of Space Technology), leading in applications, in technology and satellite services, have signed a partnership and cooperation agreement (TCA – Teaming and cooperation agreement) to provide satellite services. The cooperation covers three main areas of activity: satellite communications, earth observation, satellite systems and operations. Under this agreement, Telespazio and SSTC will coordinate their commercial activities in the market of teleport services and platform, jointly working to capture opportunities for the provision of global satellite communications (SatCom).
