(November 4, 2016) Starts from Budapest the XIV edition of MittelCinemaFest, the most important Central European Festival dedicated to Italian cinema. The event, held this year from November 5 to December 8, is promoted by Istituto Luce Cinecittà and the Italian Institutes of Culture in Budapest, Krakow, Bratislava and Prague. Fourteen years of life are an important achievement, which confirms the growing success of the event: what has grown in particular is the popularity of the film festival, awaited by an ever wider audience, distributed among the four cities. The collaboration with Istituto Luce Cinecittà, which was responsible for the high quality of the selection and purchase of the proposed titles, taken from the most recent Italian film production, and between the cultural institutes, are at the origin of the success of review. The meeting with some of the most interesting representatives of Italian cinema, contacted and invited by the Istituto Luce and the IICs, represents an important moment for the Festival audience, in addition to another important aspect: cooperation, in the case of Budapest with local distributors (Cinenuovo Kft, Cirko film), which, as already happened in previous editions of the Festival, bought the rights for the screening in Hungary of films that the Festival presents in preview.
