(November 15, 2016) The 16th edition of Italian Film Focus (IFF) takes place in Cape Town from November 22-27. The festival is the result of a long collaboration between the Italian Consulate, the Italian Cultural Institute of Pretoria, Controluce Association and the Labia Theatre. Its objective is to offer South African film lovers and professionals in the sector not only a selection of recent Italian production presented in major European festival, but also to offer an overview of current realities in Italian society, economy and anthropology. As in every edition, the added value is given by the participation of actors, directors and authors from Italy who will enter a debate with the public and will have the opportunity to meet with their local counterparts for possible collaborations and co-productions.
