Maria Assunta Accili, former Italian Ambassador in Budapest, took office in Vienna as Permanent Representative at United Nations based in the capital of Austria (Vienna International Centre, OSCE, OPEC, International Agency of Atomic Energy, United Nations Office for Drug Control and Crime Prevention, United Nations Office for outer Space Affairs and United Nations office for Industrial Development). Maria Assunta Accili was born in L’Aquila on November 16th 1955. She graduated in Political Science in 1979 at University of Rome “La Sapienza”, specialized in Bruges (Belgium) in Management of Public Organizations. She started the diplomatic career after a public contest in 1980, than she worked at Ministry of Foreign Affairs. (Red)
