Warsaw. Sardinia is showcased in Poland. 16 companies from Sardinia at the 24th edition of the TT Warsaw. It is an important international tourist programme at the MT Polska Convention Centre in Warsaw. Until Saturday 26 November, hotels, resorts, tour operators, transportation companies and services, will show what they have to offer in the reserved exhibition space, ‘Sardegna Endless Island’. This fair in Warsaw is a well known tourist attraction for Central and Eastern European countries. The last edition saw 450 exhibitors from 47 countries and 18,000 visitors, including professionals and the general public. This year’s boom especially, this fair has become by far the first one in Sardinia among those from Eastern European countries. The influx of Polish tourists in 2016 are striking: from January to August an increase of 29% in arrivals and 56% permanence in island accommodation was recorded, compared to the same period of 2015.
