(November 25) Trentino and the Chinese district of Chongqing Yuzhong are closer in the point of view of tourism, commerce and education. A high level delegation from Chongqing, lead by Zhang Lin, head of the Chongqing Yuzhong district, involved the directors of the mentioned sectors, visited Trentino and met with the provincial councillor for agriculture and tourism, among others. The mission follows up from the first contact made with the Chongqing, last March for the occasion of the councillor for territorial and urban cohesion’s meeting with the Director of Foreign Affairs of Chongqing along with researchers and other members of the economic sector. A strong message from one of the most dynamic and populated areas of the world with nearly 34 million inhabitants and with the power of an autonomous city-state conferred by a central government. Chongqing is recording a very rapid increase in urban progress. The Italian Consulate General was installed in the municipality of Chongqing and in the last two years, several aerial routes towards Rome and Milan to satisfy the increase in tourist flow towards Italy.
