Warsaw. Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs Vincenzo Amendola is on a mission to Warsaw, where he will attend the ‘Visegard Group’ summit (Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia) which focuses on the Balkan countries. Amendola was accompanied by the Italian Ambassador to Poland Alessandro De Pedys, and Special Envoy for the Western Balkans Summit, Michele Giacomelli. The aim of the visit is to strengthen the political dialogue with Warsaw – where there are currently divergent views on migration issues and European policies – and to lay the foundations to strengthen the economic cooperation which remains at excellent levels; with trade amounting to €19.5 billion in 2015. Italy is in fact the fourth largest trading partner for the Polish. (9Colonne)
