Baltimore - Doxorubicin, also known as Adriamycin, is a chemotherapic used for many years in oncology. Researchers of Palermo, in collaboration with colleagues from Medical University of Gdansk (Poland) and University of Maryland Medical School at Baltimore (USA), published this month a paper on the journal Cancer Letters which demonstrate a new mechanism of action of this drug.
