(12 December, 2016) The project “Meet the New Italians” continues in New York. Music will be the focus, especially pianist and composer from Parma, Roberta di Mario. This week di Mario will carry out several performances including at the New York Italian Consulate, organised by the record producer, Roberto Mancinelli on December 14 for “Meet the new Italians”. Di Mario is a sophisticated musician and composer who over the course of her long music career, has collected numerous national and international awards. She will introduce her work to the American public. She has in fact already released two albums (“Tra il tempo e alla distanza” in 2011 and “Lo stato delle cose” – The State of Things in 2015) and will soon release her new instrumental album titled “Illegacy”. “Meet the New Italians of New York” is a project put into action by the Italian Consulate General of New York with the objective of involving a new generation of Italian expats and to benefit from their participation in activities of Italian Institutions.
