Dakar – (14 December, 2016) The international cooperation project ‘IdRiCo’ (Idee per Risorse Collettive- Ideas for Collective Resources) will be presented starting this afternoon- December 14 to 17 – at the University of Trieste, in the Aula Magna in Via Filzi Number 14. The University of Triste communicates that the Department of Legal Sciences, Language, Interpretation and Translation has been in collaboration with IdRiCo in Senegal, namely in the Fatick region. There the poverty rate – equal to 67.8% – is among the highest in the country because of a chronic shortage of drinking water. To the south of the Fatick region is the Rural Community of Nioro Alassane Tall, which is composed of 61 villages including Keur Bakar Diahité, the seat of the project. The project is co-funded by the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, which aims to complete a previous project aimed at optimizing water through advanced and environmentally friendly technologies.
