(December 14, 2016) On December 13 the Italian Embassy in Lebanon hosted a seminar on green economy with the aim of presenting the Italian initiatives for an environmental development and investment opportunities in the country. Several the focuses of the conference, including the cooperation – in the field of energy efficiency – between the Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation and the Italian Environment Ministry, and the Italian initiatives for the industrial areas of Lebanon. The Italian Ambassador Massimo Marotti opened the working session with the hope that “the seminar will bring together new ideas and strengthen cooperation on environmental protection and energy efficiency, in order to promote private investment and deepen relations between Italy and Lebanon “.
