(28 December, 2016) “Italian tourism has increased by 30%. It is third behind Macedonians and Kosovars in Albania”. The general director of the Albanian tourism agency, Ardit Collaku has underlined that Albania’s future is filled with new investments and development. Tourism in Albania is only surprising to those who have never visited the country. The numbers in fact show the development in Albania’s tourism sector, all thanks to Edi Rama’s administration. In his first three years, his goal- according to Collaku- was to “work on our image. The results we have seen reflect this. The quality of hospitality has greatly increased and we have launched investments in tourism that also focus on sustainability”. This was also made possible by the collaborations with Italian institutions that ranges from law enforcement, embassies, and Italian Cultural Institutes. (9colonne)
