(January 5, 2017) Molteni & C, one of the main suppliers in the world of interior design, decided, with the Ponti family, to give form to different furniture designs of the famous architect so far never mass-produced. Most of them, in fact, had been designed by Ponti (1891-1979) exclusively for his private use. Germany is dedicating an exhibition to the lifestyle of Gio Ponti, through his works: “Vivere alla Ponti”, after the premiere in Milan and Venice, simultaneously with the Biennale 2012, arrives at the Italian Institute of culture in Cologne. In the exhibition, which will be inaugurated on January 16 and will be open until February 3, one can admire the reproductions of the Ponti furniture, mainly hand-made, and other items of furniture.
