(17 January 2017) The Italian components for the automotive aim to internationalization and growing in the world, with a large potential for further development and a knock-on effect for the whole chain, equal to more than 65 billions euro of new export by 2020 . This is what emerges from the study that deals with components for the automotive published today by Sace (Cassa Depositi e Prestiti Group): “Faster, farther: the components change of pace”. While the motor vehicle manufacturing industry is present on a variety of geographies and significantly increases its exports, the components remains focused on traditional markets like Europe (about 70% of total export). Sace has identified 12 markets of opportunity that – by 2021 – will generate sales of over 75 billion euro. Apart from known regions as China, Mexico and India, there are also Asian frontier economies, so it is crucial to adopt forms of “advanced” internationalization through a structured approach and adequate financial and insurance solutions. A trend that is confirmed by the increasing activity in this area of Sace and Simest, the export and internationalization branch of the CDP Group. Many companies of the components sector have already turned to Sace and Simest to enter or increase their presence in high-potential markets for their business. Success stories that come from all over Italy and star the whole automotive sector, SMEs and big companies alike. (Red)
