(January 19, 2017) Next Friday, January 27 the traditional appointment with Polentata at the Casa degli Italiani of Barcelona is back, but this time with a whole new formula: from Bergamo arrived in the Catalan city Luigi Jordi from PolentOne, with their latest new machines to make polenta, both in the traditional version made from corn, and Taragna, the buckwheat variant. Of course, along with the main course, other true delicacies could be tasted: delicious cheeses such as Taleggio, Fontina, Gorgonzola and other; wild boar sauce, Chianina meat sauce, directly from Tuscany; a sauce of vegetables as well as delicious traditional Italian appetizers such as stuffed olives and breaded mozzarella. All served with a good Italian wine. To conclude the dinner, the Dolci del Signore: a great ending to a polenta feast unusual but equally representative of the best Italian culinary tradition. Before dinner, at 20, there will be the presentation of the Association “Bergamaschi nel Mondo”, by Beppe Vailati. The Casa degli Italiani of Barcelona is charity-cultural apolitical association active in the promotion and diffusion of Italian language and culture in Barcelona.
