In the wake of the guidelines set out yesterday by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano, during his speech in videoconference, it closed yesterday in Jakarta the first area meeting of 7 Italian Ambassadors accredited in the 10 ASEAN countries, also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Defense, ICE, the Bank of Italy and the Italian Institutes of Culture. To draw the conclusions of the event – said a statement by the Foreign Ministry – the Secretary of State Benedetto Della Vedova, who underlined how “the coming months will see a revival of our relations with ASEAN. We have identified some priority areas for integrated promotion campaign, which will provide for some extraordinary events and daily action of our field missions in support of Italian companies”.
