Tel Aviv – With the 2017 summer schedule, Alitalia will start new direct flights Rome-Kiev and Tel Aviv-Athens (flight subject to approval of the authorities). These two flights are added to the new domestic and international seasonal flights that, united to restore flights to popular summer destinations and to the increase of frequencies on several routes, respond to the great demand for connections to typical vacation destinations during the summer. Moreover, with the aim of strengthening the position in the intercontinental market, from August it will enter the fleet the first Boeing 777-300ER which will become the new flagship of the Italian Company. The new Rome-Kiev connection will be established, every day, starting from May 1, with planes of the mid-range Airbus A320 family. (9colonne)
