Nottingham. Developing models and algorithms to improve high-precision positioning, through the integration of satellite navigation systems (GNSS – Global Navigation Satellite System), and building the skills to be used in various industries and in academia. These are the goals of Treasure (Training, REsearch and Applications network to Support the Ultimate Real time high accuracy EGNSS solution (a new project funded by the European Commission under H2020-Marie Sklodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network and coordinated by the University of Nottingham. Among the other partners, is the National Institute of Geophysics and Vulcanology, INGV. TREASURE aims to exploit the GNSS systems, such as GPS, GLONASS and the emerging European Galileo system, to build a prototype of services that can provide solutions in real-time, available worldwide, for high precision navigation.
