Tunis – “The Italian government is determined to further strengthen cooperation with Tunisia not only promoting economic relations between entrepreneurs of the two countries but also by stimulating cooperation on strategic programs and on priority issues for both countries, such as the Elmed power line” . This was stated by Minister of Economic Development Carlo Calenda during an economic meeting held this morning with the President of the Republic of Tunisia Beji Caid Essebsi on a state visit to Rome. The meeting was attended by the Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Development of Investment and International Cooperation and the Minister of Tourism, as well as qualified representatives of entrepreneurs of the two countries.
