Trieste – “We are a rich country, especially in minerals but also in agricultural products for export, which wants to grow, is full of young people and is rebuilding its identity in the name of internal and international stability. We can be a source of great business opportunities for you, and on our side we see great opportunities for us with you”. This was stated by Kadri Veseli, President of the Legislative Assembly of Kosovo, as well as head of the PDK (Democratic Party of Kosovo), Kosovo’s majority political expression, the president of the regional council of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Franco Iacop, Vice-presidents Igor Gabrovec and Paride Cargnelutti, and the President of the Italian Association for the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (Aiccre), Franco Brussa. Accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture, Memli Krasniqi, Secretary General of the Parliament and some local entrepreneurs, these days Veseli is on an official visit in Friuli to know businesses, in particular agro-food and wine. Many similarities observed between the two companies, starting with the number of inhabitants (both less than 2 million), the morphological type (about half is mountain territory), the presence of recognized and protected minority communities.
