Tokyo – Cuneo, Turin, Vercelli: from these provincese come the 6 Piedmontese companies in flight to Tokyo; from March 7 to 10 they’ll exhibit at Foodex, the most important agri-food fair in Japan, as well as a large shopping booster event for the whole Asia Pacific region. The Piedmont presence is coordinated by the Internationalization Center (Ceipiemonte), with the technical assistance of the Centro Estero Alpi del Mare (CEAM), in the Italian collective area managed by Italtrade. The fair, which includes among its exhibitors also numerous local importers and distributors, is a key event for both companies already on the Japanese market, and for those who plan to enter. In this sense it responds to the different needs of the Piedmont delegation of companies in their debut on the Japanese market, where they intend to verify possible commercial opportunities, such as the manufacturer of canned food SAC and the meat producer Vercelli spa.
