Washington. An article on the supernova SN 1987A co-authored by Marco Miceli and Dr. Orlando from the INAF Palermo Astronomical Observatory, was published on NASA’s and Chandra’s (NASA’s X-Ray telescope), among three other relevant articles, for the 30th anniversary of the supernova’s explosion. The article studies the evolution of the supernova through a complex three-dimensional hydrodynamic model. The same article, published in “The Astrophysical Journal” will also be mentioned and discussed in the March issue of “Astronomy magazine”, the leading magazine in astrophysics. (9Colonne)
