Moscow - The value of Apulian exports to Russia in 2016 rises up to nearly 50mln euros, thanks to the recovery in demand of the 2 most important voices of the regional offer: textiles (17.7%, 13.6 mln) and pharmaceuticals (+ 4%, 12,4mln). Less well Bari, which ended with a contraction of 17.7% (25,7mln euro), almost entirely due to the collapse of the supply of petroleum products. Overall the Puglia region confirms Southern Italy's turnaround in sales to the Russian Federation, after 2 complicated years hampered by geopolitical tensions before and then from the downturn. This is revealed by Istat on calculations made by Associazione Conoscere Eurasia and presented today during the 2nd Italy-Russia Seminar in Bari. (9Colonne)
