Bir Rebaa Nord. The Algerian Minister for Energy Noureddine Boutarfa, President and General Director of Sonatrach, Amine Mazouzi along with the CEO of ENI, Claudio Descalzi; have assisted in laying down the first photovoltaic cell of the ENI’s Solar Plant in Algeria which will distribute electricity to the oil field operated by Groupemen Sonatrach Agip (GSA). The 10 Megawatt plant will be utilised as a partial substitute for the national electricity distribution thus contributing to the decarbonisation of the Algerian energetic system. (9colonne)
