Tbilisi. The Italian national futsal team rallied in Rome and in the afternoon took to the field for the first training session before the Main Round of the European Championship 2018 qualifications which will see the Italian team engaged in Tbilisi, Georgia, from April 8th until the 11th. Roberto Menichelli’s team is inserted into Group A and will make its debut in the qualifiers on Saturday April 8th against Belarus (13.30 Italian time) followed by the Netherlands on April 9th (13:30 Italian time) and Georgia on April 11th (16:00). The winners of the seven groups of the Main Round reach the Finals of the European Championship 2018 (January 30 – February 10) at the Stožice Arena in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The seven runner-ups and the best thirds will instead play each other in the playoffs. (9Colonne)
