London. In a new study, physicists from the University of Palermo have developed a method to determine the entanglement between identical particles, a topic previously debated in the scientific community. The results provide a deeper understanding of the relationships that can arise between basic particles and have implications in modern quantum technologies. The study was developed by Stefania Sciara and Rosario Lo Franco from the Department of Energy, Engineering and Mathematical Models (Deim); and Giuseppe Compagno from the Department of Physics and Chemistry (DIFC) of the University of Palermo and published in the journal “Scientific Reports of the Nature Publishing Group”.
