London. There are 11 Tuscan companies listed among the 1,000 European companies with the fastest growth rates. The list, called FT1000 is compiled by the Financial Times with the Statistical Society “Statista.com”, lists the 1,000 European companies that have achieved the highest percentage of growth between 2012 and 2015. The Tuscan companies are ranked in different sectors: from industrial goods to technology, advanced services to Travel & Leisure, health care to management consulting. “The fact that the research commissioned by the Financial Times has identified 11 Tuscan companies out of 1,000 (after having analysed and contacted 50,000 European companies), means that 1% of the fastest growing companies in Europe are based in Tuscany” according to the governor of Tuscany, Enrico Rossi. The figure is flattering considering also that the ranking includes political or financial capitals such as London, Paris, Milan, and Berlin. It is a further, indirect proof of the competitiveness of the Tuscan business climate for organisations that can or want to run fast”. (9Colonne)
