Kuwait City. The Carabiniere Ship will stay docked in Kuwait City until April 22. The frigate arrived in Kuwait after Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Pakistan, and Oman taking part in several exercises with local marinas. During the stop in Kuwait City, the ship’s commander Carabiniere and S.E. Giuseppe Scognamiglio, Italian Ambassador to Kuwait, will welcome diplomatic and military authorities as well as representatives of the Italian community highlighting the close and dynamic bilateral cooperation between Kuwait and Italy. The Carabiniere ship is the fourth “anti-submarine”, FREMM unit fitted with the latest advanced weapons and defense systems delivered to the Navy in April 2015. (9Colonne)
