Beijing. “The joint patrolling effort between Italian and Chinese law enforcement – of great appeal to tourists visiting from Italy and other countries – is proceeding successfully” according to a statement by the Italian Embassy in Beijing. Starting 25 April, Italian State Police and Carabinieri will collaborate with Chinese Police in a joint surveillance activity in tourist areas if Beijing to assist Italian tourists and facilitate communication with local Chinese law enforcement should the necessity arise.
