Sarajevo – Today a delegation from the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives, chaired by President Fabrizio Cicchitto, joined by Marietta Tidei (PD) and Daniele Del Grosso (M5S), went on a mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sarajevo hosted meetings with parliamentary, governmental, civil society and Italian troops engaged in missions of the European Union and NATO. At the heart of today’s talks are the themes of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Euro-Atlantic integration in connection with the internal political debate on reforms, the resumption of nationalisms, the fight against fundamentalism, bilateral relations, also in view of the Trieste summit scheduled in July, under the Italian presidency of the Berlin Process.
