Shanghai – “China is developing its tourism industry to the rest of the world and Italy is preparing to welcome Chinese tourists not only in the most well-known destinations like Venice, Milan and Rome, but also towards new lesser known destinations no less fascinating such as Calabria or Sardinia (visited in September by President Xi Jinping) and the rest of the Peninsula”. This was stated by Turism Undersecretary Dorina Bianchi on a visit to China “to consolidate ties with local authorities in preparation for 2018 Year of Europe China Tourism, an important appointment – she added – in which Italy also wants and must do its part”.”(9colonne)
