(16 May 2017) This year, the third International Book Fair was held at the Palais Moulay Hafid in Tangier and will see publishers, booksellers and a curious and attentive audience from various parts of Morocco and Europe. There were interesting cultural events and activities for book lovers and publishers. And, like every year, there was a huge visitor turnout. At the third International Book Fair in Tangier, promoted by the French Institute of Culture with the participation of the Cervantes Institute, however, there is also a great novelty. The Dante Alighieri Society states, “after more than 20 years away from Tangier, Italy takes part in this year’s Fair thanks to the Tangier chapter of the Dante Alighieri Society and to the invitation of the French Cultural Institute and collaboration with the Cervantes Institute”.
