Milan. The seventh edition of gala of ring sports, “The Night of Kick and Punch” will be held on Saturday, June 24, at the Nuovo Theatre in Milan. The event hosted by Angelo Valente will offer two highly anticipated events by Milan’s citizens – including the return of the ex-WBC lightweight world champion, Giacobbe Fragomeni. At Nuovo Teatro, Jacob will fight eight rounds and the name of the opponent will be announced shortly. Giacobbe also trains with his eye on the prize: on June 4 in Belgium a match between Mirko Larghetti (24-2) and local Idol Yves Ngabu (17-0 with 12 knockout wins) and the vacant European lightweight title. “It’s a challenge to keep an eye on” says Giacobbe. “Because I would like to win a title I never won as a professional.” (9Colonne)
