San Francisco. The exhibition “Vivere alla Castiglioni” (Living the Castiglioni Way) was conceived by Fondazione Castiglioni for the “Abitami” exhibition in Milan, 2011 which subsequently traveled to Rome, Mantua, and Palermo, and this year travels to the United States for the first time. Giovanna and Carlo Castiglioni navigate in a context in which the audience comes into contact with their father, Achille and uncle Pier Giacomo’s creations not in a static way, but in the reconstruction of daily family dynamics, calling for a better understanding of their use and conception. Giovanna and Carlo Castiglioni’s presentation at the Design Hub will take place on June 14 and 15. After the first two days at San Francisco Design Week, the show will then travel to CoorItalia on June 16 and will be on display there from June 17 to June 22 at the Italian Institute of Culture of San Francisco. Having reached its tenth year of business, San Francisco Design Week continues to present the emerging talent of the city and Bay Area in the fields of design, architecture, fashion, and technological innovation.
