Vitoria – Italy and Brazil joined in the sign of natural stone. The 43rd edition of Vitória Stone Fair / Marble + Mac Latin America, the reference event in South America for the marble, granite and processing technology industry, is now in Vitória in the Brazilian state of Espirito Santo. A sector that sees Brazil as the fifth exporter of stone materials in the world (after Italy) with more than $ 1.1 billion in counterparty reached in 2016. Reference markets are confirmed by China, for rough granite (with 62% of total sales), while processed marbles are directed for 4/5 to the United States, Canada and Mexico. For four days, until June 9th, 300 exhibiting companies from 19 countries will meet in Vitória, waiting for buyers and operators in the field of construction, architecture and design coming from nearly 80 countries. It is a fair with roots in the most important stone district in Brazil, responsible for 80% of the national marble export, but based on know-how in all of Italy. To organize it, in fact, is Milanez & Milaneze, a subsidiary of Veronafiere do Brasil which is part of the Veronafiere group. (9colonne)
