Barcelona – The My StartBcn contest, organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce – Barcelona, in collaboration with I3P, is a program aimed at the promotion and international growth of Italian start-ups wishing to expand their market in Spain. My StartBcn addresses all the founding members of innovative start-ups of Italian citizenship and envisages two different stages of evaluation. In a first phase, limited to Italy, the entire procedure will be coordinated by the Italian Chamber of Commerce Barcelona, in collaboration with I3P – Politecnico di Torino. Based on established evaluation criteria, I3P – Politecnico di Torino selects 5 start up finalists. The 5 start-ups selected for Stage 2 (Spain) will have the opportunity to present their project to a jury of innovators, mentors and venture capitalists, who will choose a single start up as winner. The winner will receive a free 6-month coworking space, administrative-legal support, project-acceleration mentoring, networking and contacts with the venture capitalist ecosystem, as well as the association with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Barcelona for a year.
