(22 June 2017) “Fighting Organised Crime in the Western Balkans: Police and Judiciary Co-operation”: in the framework of this project, carried out by the Italian Ministry of the Interior, a seminar was held at the Sipa (State Investigation and Protection Agency) in Sarajevo, dedicated to financial investigations. The project makes use of funds made available by the EU under the Instrument for Pre-Accession (IPA). “There are two representatives of the Italian Guardia di Finanza who are responsible for financial investigations, according to the Italian Embassy in Sarajevo. Practical examples have shown the Bosnian colleagues the methods, procedures, and collaborations that activate in Italy to fight criminal phenomena, even from a financial point of view. It has been particularly interesting to compare the concrete cases and the operational techniques used in the two realities and are now undergoing further work with the participation of the Italian Guardia di Finanza”.
