Tirana. The ceremony for Musine Kokalari award was held at the Italian Residence in Tirana on July 11th for two graduate students from the Italian-Albanian bilingual section of Ismail Qemali High School of Tirana. The award was given to young students to support their first year at the Polytechnic of Turin and the Bicocca University of Milan. The students were chosen by a mixed committee composed of the Italian Embassy, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Albania, and the Albanian Ministry of Education. The initiative is fully integrated in the strategy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs launched last October for the General State of the Italian Language which aims towards the internationalisation of the Italian university system.
