Tirana – A delegation of the Dante Alighieri Society led by Deputy Secretary General Andrea Vincenzoni was received yesterday in Tirana by the Minister of Education and Sport of Albania, Mirela Karabina. The visit was an opportunity to confirm Dante’s commitment to promoting Italian culture and language in the country. Particular emphasis was given to the PLIDA (Italian Language Project Dante Alighieri), the Dante’s Italian language certification system, spread all over the world. The Tirana and Argirocastro Committees have long been involved in the certification of the Italian language skills PLIDA; It is a very important task that done by Dante, made possible by the continuous improvement of the tools developed by the headquarters with the monitoring of an authoritative Scientific Council.
