(24 July 201) Verona and Munich share the Great Opera. This evening, at 20:00, the Arena Foundation will bring the great titles in Italian Opera and Belcanto at an event sponsored by the Municipalities of Verona and Munich in celebration of the 30-year anniversary of Konzertgesellschaft München e.V.paying tribute to the twining of the two cities in 1960. The Swedish Royals Carl XVI Gustaf and his wife Silvia, along with state Ministers, Markus Söder and Ludwig Spaenle will perform in the concert organised by Musikerlebnis. The Deputy Mayor of Verona will be present along with the delegation to International Relations Lorenzo Fontana, Councilor for Territory, Culture and Security of the Veneto Region, Cristiano Corazzari and the Superintendent of the Giuliano Polo Verona Arena Foundation. The Arena of Verona Orchestra led by the young director, Andrea Battistoni, will be involved in a programme that commemorates the melodrama. (Red)
