New York – Training Ship Amerigo Vespucci has arrived yesterday in New York Harbor for the 8th stage of the Education Campaign 2017. The Education Campaign on board Vespucci Ship is a key element in the training of personnel of the Navy and contributes in enhancing those fundamental values that distinguish the men and women of the armed forces: love for the sea, ethics, fidelity, discipline and honor. Sailed from the La Spezia Military Arsenal on April 19 for the Education Campaign 2017, the “World’s Most Beautiful Ship” has made a stop at Sines and Funchal in Portugal after a 20-day Atlantic crossing arrived in Hamilton , The Bermuda Islands, and later visited Canada in the cities of Halifax, Montreal and Quebec City.
