Sydney – The Sydney Italian Institute of Culture announced the 2017 edition of the ‘Masters of Neorealism’ cycle. After the meetings with Rossellini and De Sica retrospectives of 2015 and Marcello Mastroianni in 2016, this year the main characters of the show will be Mario Martone with the projection of the feature films ‘Noi Credevamo’ and ‘Il Giovane Favoloso’, Gianni Amelio with ‘L’intrepido’ and Carlo Mazzacurati with ‘La Sedia della Felicità’. The first event is scheduled on Thursday, August 3 with the projection of Martone’s ’Il Giovane Favoloso’. Martone will always close the show on November 2 with ‘Noi Credevamo’. (9colonne)
