Beirut. The member companies of Assorestauro that participated in a four-day workshop to help lay the foundations for the first steps towards future collaborations, returned to Italy after the mission in Lebanon. Representatives of the Lebanese Ministry of Culture, the UNESCO Syrian Delegation, the Syrian Ministry of Culture, and representatives of the Cultural Heritage and Urban Development – CHUD also participated in the workshop, which are involved in reconstruction with concrete initiatives with funding from the World Bank. The networking opportunity was valuable for learning details about the operation of all agreed parties and ongoing projects (but also those planned in the near future) on the issues of reconstruction and their funding.
