Hamburg – A staircase, lamps, bulbs, many, many cables and switches on stage. And a man. Is it a technician or an actor? Will he be able to turn on the lights? The switch control makes curious musical rhythms and light bulbs turn into people with agency. This is the leitmotiv of ‘On-Off’, an all-Italian show featured by the ‘The Shack’ (La Baracca) group from Bologna, which will be on stage for the 31st three-day ‘KinderKinder’, the international music and theatre festival in Hamburg. ‘On-off’ will be entirely dedicated to children aged 1 to 6 and will take place on Saturday and Sunday morning and afternoon.
